Lisa Rabél began playing the guitar when she was 9 years old. Later, she graduated from the Vienna Conservatory, with a major in classical guitar. Due to her keen interest in Spanish music, she attended flamenco classes in Spain with musicians such as Paco Peña and Pedro Soler.
In addiction, she spent a year in Mexico, studying vocal music and deepening her involvement with Latin American music. After returning to Austria, she performed many live solo concerts. As well, she presented her music in a series of radio and television appearances. Inspired by her time in Mexico, Lisa began to create her own compositions.
She continued her study of vocal music with Susanne Amberg Schneeweis, who not only assisted her in perfecting her breathing technique but also helped her to develop a clear, strong, expressive singing voice.
